Our History
Hugh Mossman is the Founder of Mossman Law Office. He graduated with a J.D. degree from the University of Iowa School of Law, where he qualified for the Law Review. Prior to entering private practice, he served as city attorney of Boise. In 1981, Hugh founded Mossman Law Office with the conviction that every client deserves hard-working, focused, and personalized representation. Hugh’s practice emphasized personal injury, worker’s compensation, and Social Security disability law. Hugh was proud to have his daughter, Taylor Mossman-Fletcher, join the firm in 2011 having now chosen the same honorable profession as himself and his own father. After 33 successful years in private practice, Hugh retired in 2014.
In addition, Hugh is a Boise, Idaho artist who has painted Idaho landscapes and street scenes for more than 35 years.
He is a Charter Member and Merit Member of the Idaho Watercolor Society, Signature Member of the California Watercolor Association and National Watercolor Society, as well as Watercolor West. Hugh’s objectives in painting are to create original and expressive paintings which showcase the unique qualities of watercolor.
